Abstract


The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of Profit Growth, Operating Cash Flow, and Operating  Profit Margin partially in predicting financial distress in companies in the Plastic and Packaging Sub Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018 and to explain the effect of Profit Growth, Cash Flow Operations, and Operating Profit Margin simultaneously in predicting financial stress in companies in the Plastic and Packaging Sub Sectors Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. This study uses secondary data, the sampling method uses purposive sampling, the analysis method used is quantitative statistics, the data analysis in this study is verification by the explanatory survey method, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that (1) Partially, Profit Growth does not have a significant influence in predicting financial distress. Operating cash flow has a significant influence in predicting financial distress. Operating Profit Margin has a significant influence in predicting financial distress (2) Profit Growth, Operating Cash Flow, and Operating Profit Margin simultaneously have a significant effect in predicting financial stress with a significance level of 0,000.
