PENGARUH GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN SUB SEKTOR KONSTRUKSI & BANGUNAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA PERIODE 2013-2018

Abstract

Property, real estate and building
construction companies play an important
role in the growth of economic development
in various countries in the world, especially
developing countries such as Indonesia. Lots
of companies are engaged in this field. This
indicates that the economy in Indonesia is
growing. The objectives of this study were:
(1) To examine the effect of GCG as proxied
by institutional ownership on. (2) To test the
effect of GCG as proxied by the board of
directors on ROA. (3) To test the effect of
GCG as proxied by the audit committee on
ROA. (4) To examine the effect of GCG,
which is proxied by institutional ownership,
the board of directors and the audit
committee simultaneously on ROA. This
research was conducted at manufacturing
companies in the construction & building
sub-sector listed on the IDX for the 20132018

period. The sample used in this study
were 7 companies. The sample was selected
using purposive sampling method. Then
performed data outliers and produced as
many as 4 companies. The analytical
method used in this research is quantitative
analysis with a verification characteristic
that functions as an analyzer of the data that
has been collected. Data was tested using
Eviews 10 using panel data regression
analysis test, classical assumption test, and
hypothesis testing. Partial testing of the t test
shows that GCG results which are proxied
by institutional ownership have no effect on
the company's financial performance, GCG
which is proxied by the board of directors
affects the company's financial performance
and GCG proxied by the audit committee
has no effect on the company's financial
performance. Simultaneous research results
of the F test get GCG results which are
proxied by institutional ownership, the board
of directors and the audit committee together
have an effect on the company's financial
performance in construction & building subsector

companies listed on the Indonesian
stock exchange for the period 2013-2018.
