ANALISIS PENGAWASAN PROSES PRODUKSI DALAM MEMINIMUMKAN JUMLAH PRODUK CACAT (Studi Kasus Pada PT Jaya Nusantara Abadi)

Abstract

This research is intended to find out and analyze the supervision of the production process at PT. Jaya Nusantara Abadi as well as analyzing the factors that cause defects in pipe products at PT. Jaya Nusantara Abadi. This research is descriptive in nature, the data used include primary and secondary data, the method used in this study is the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method with P-Chart tools, Pareto Diagrams, Fishbone Diagrams.The results of the study note that the supervision of the pipe production process at PT. Jaya Nusantara Abadi has not gone well, marked by the presence of defective products, the cause of the presence of defective products are crooked, perforated, pata, the size is not appropriate, and the level of flexibility is not appropriate. From the fishbone diagram it is known that the factors that cause errors are human, material, method, and machine. Suggestions from this research by using this method can be known several factors that cause defects in pipe products, namely production defects occur during the production process that is caused by humans and machines. Therefore the company needs to conduct stricter supervision in the ongoing production process, so that it is expected that supervision of the production process runs well and the number of defective products decreases.
