PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Universitas Pakuan. Bogor. 2017.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dalam dua siklus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Matematika padasiswa kelas V melalui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V B Sekolah Dasar Negeri Genteng Kecamatan Bogor Selatan Kota Bogor sebanyak 38 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran siklus I memperoleh nilai 72,29 dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 68,42%, sedangkan siklus II memperoleh nilai 78,51 dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 86,84%, artinya penelitian ini berhasil. Begitu pula dengan penilaian kualitas proses pembelajaran pada siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata 83,03 dengan kriteria baik, sedangkan siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 88,18 dengan kriteria baik. Adapun hasil observasi perubahan perilaku siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada sikap berupa keberanian, kerjasama, dan tanggungjawab dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata pada siklus I yaitu 75 dengan kriteria cukup, sedangkan siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 85,65 dengan kriteria baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika di kelas VB sekolah Dasar Negeri Genteng Kecamatan Bogor Selatan Kota Bogor.

The purpose of this study is to improve the process and learning outcomes in Mathematics subjectsin the class V students through the application of learning model Discovery Learning. The subject of this research is VB students of Genteng State Elementary School as many as 38 students. The research held in the even semester 2016/2017 School Year.The results showed that the average value of learning outcomes in the implementation of learning cycle I get the value 72,29 and68,42% completeness of learning outcomes, while the cycle II get the value 78,51 and86,84% learning completeness, it means the research was successful. Similarly, the assessment of the learning process on the first I of 83,03, while the second cycle of 88,18. While the result of observation of student behavior change showed an increase in attitude in the form of bravery, cooperation, and responsibility of student by getting result in cycle I that is 75 while cycle II get result 85,65.Based on the results of the above research can be concluded that the application of learning model Discovery Learniing can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics subjects in VB students atGenteng State Elementary School, South Bogor Sub-district, Bogor City.
