Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Melalui Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, serta dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif dan dua siklus. Tujuan dalam peneliti ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada siswa kelas V melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kawungluwuk Kecamatan Simpenan Kabupaten Sukabumi yang terdiri dari 28 siswa, dengan komposisi 13 siswa laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata penilaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I sebesar 71,25%, siklus II 90% meningkat 18,75%, observasi perubahan sikap siswa siklus I 72,61%, siklus II 92,62% meningkat sebesar 20,01%,  begitu pula dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar pada siklus I mencapai 53,57%, siklus II 89,29% meningkat sebesar 35,72%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kawungluwuk Kecamatan Simpenan  Kabupaten Sukabumi. Selain itu, dapat meningkatkan keaktifan, kerjasama, dan keberanian siswa.

ABSTRACT

This research is a Classroom Action Research, and implemented collaboratively and two cycles. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of subjects of Natural Sciences in the class V students through the application of Problem Based Learning model of learning. The subject of this research is the students of grade V of Kawungluwuk State Elementary School of Simpenan Subdistrict of Sukabumi Regency consisting of 28 students, with the composition of 13 male students and 15 female students. Implementation of this research was conducted in the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017. The result of research shows that the average value of the assessment of learning implementation in the first cycle is 71.25%, cycle II 90% cycle increases 18.75%, observation of student attitude change cycle I 72.61%, cycle II 92.62% increases by 20 , 01%, as well as the completeness of learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 53.57%, cycle II 89.29% increased by 35.72%. Based on the results of the above research can be concluded that the implementation of learning model Problem Based Learning can improve the learning outcomes of subjects of Natural Sciences in grade V students Kawungluwuk State Elementary School District Simpenan Sukabumi District. In addition, it can enhance students' activeness, cooperation, and courage.
