PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SNOWBALL THROWING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR ILMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL

Penelitian ini dengan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilaksanakan secara Kolaboratif dan 2 siklus. Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cigombong 03 Kecamatan Cigombong Kabupaten Bogor melalui model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing. Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar NegeriCigombong 03 yang terdiri dari 41 peserta didik  dengan komposisi perempuan 21 orang dan laki-laki 20 orang. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran ini dilakukan pada Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata ketuntasan hasil belajar pada siklus I memperoleh nilai 57,53 dengan tingkat ketuntasan sebesar  46,34%. Sedangkan pada siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 73,31 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 87,80%. Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada peserta didik kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cigombong 03 Kecamatan Cigombong Kabupaten Bogor. Selain itu model pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan disiplin, kerjasama dan tanggung jawab siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

ABSTRACT

This study uses classroom action approach was implemented collaboratively and two cycles. The main objective of this research is to improve the learning outcomes in social science subjects of the fifth grade elementary school Cigombong 03 in Bogor  through Snowball Throwing. The subject of this research is students of fifth grade elementary school that consists of 41 students with the composition of 21 girl and 20 boy. The implementation of this learning is done in the even semester of the 2016/2017 academic year. The results showed that the average value in the amount of learning result completeness in cycle one got a value of 57,53 with a complete level of 46,34%. While in cycle two got a average value in the amount of 73,31 with a level of mastery 87,80%. This research concludes that the application of Snowball Throwing learning model can improve learning outcomes in social science subjects in the fifth grade students in the state primary school Cigombong 03 in Bogor. In addition, this learning model can improve discipline, cooperation and responsibility of students in learning process too.
